What Healing Makes Possible
There are seasons in life that ask us to slow down.
To listen more deeply.
To shed what no longer belongs.
They are rarely the seasons we would have chosen, yet they often become the ones that change us the most.
Like the snake, we outgrow old identities.
Old stories.
Old ways of protecting ourselves.
Layer by layer, we release what has become too small for who we are becoming.
And then, almost without noticing, something begins to shift.
After the stillness comes momentum.
After the remembering comes expression.
After healing comes the invitation to live differently.
I've always loved the symbolism of the horse.
To me, it represents freedom.
Movement.
Joy.
Strength that isn't forced, but embodied.
The horse doesn't question whether it's ready to run.
It simply responds to the moment before it.
Perhaps our own lives move in seasons like this.
There are times for retreat.
Times for healing.
Times for gathering wisdom.
And there are times when life gently asks us to stop preparing and begin expressing everything we've come to know.
Maybe that's the quiet purpose of healing.
Not simply to ease our suffering.
But to free the energy that has been waiting beneath it.
To create from a place of wholeness instead of survival.
To trust ourselves enough to move forward with clarity, courage, and an open heart.
Whatever season you find yourself in today, I hope you honor it.
If you're shedding, trust that something beautiful is making room to emerge.
If you're remembering, stay close to your own wisdom.
And if you can feel the quiet stirrings of momentum within you...
Perhaps this is your season to begin expressing the life you've been becoming all along.
With love,
Annaliese
