Aftercare & Integration
After energy healing and nervous system work, it’s important to give your body and system space to integrate.
This work supports subtle energetic shifts and upgrades, neurological regulation, and recalibration on multiple levels. Because of this, it’s very normal to notice changes or sensations in the hours or days that follow.
You may experience:
A need for extra rest or quiet
Mild fatigue or a desire to slow down
Increased thirst or hunger
Emotional softening or reflection
A sense of spaciousness, sensitivity, or release
All of this is a natural part of your system integrating the work.
Supportive Aftercare Practices
To support gentle and complete integration, you may consider:
Hydration:
Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Adding minerals or electrolytes can be especially supportive.Nourishment:
Choose warm, grounding, nourishing foods if possible. Listen to what your body is asking for.Rest & Naps:
Short naps or periods of deep rest can be incredibly restorative. Allow yourself to pause and restore as needed.Warmth & Soaking:
Warm showers or Epsom salt baths can help the body relax, support muscle relaxation and detoxification, and encourage integration.Herbal Teas:
Warm teas can be soothing and grounding — choose what feels comforting to you.Spaciousness:
Give yourself permission to take things slowly and avoid over-scheduling if possible.Gentle Presence:
Quiet time, light movement, or simply being with yourself can help the integration land more fully.
There is no “right” way to integrate — simply follow what feels supportive and kind.
Optional Reflection & Journaling
If it feels nourishing, you may enjoy spending a few minutes journaling after our circle or sometime in the days that follow. These prompts are invitations, not requirements.
You might explore:
What did I notice in my body during or after the session?
What images, sounds, smells, and sensations came through?
Where do I feel more space, softness, or clarity?
What feels ready to be released or loosened right now?
What does my nervous system seem to be asking for?
What would feel most nourishing or supportive over the next few days?
What am I integrating, even if I don’t fully understand it yet?
There are no right answers — noticing is enough.
