Returning to Community
For the first time in a long time, I feel myself returning to something I have deeply missed.
Community.
Not just being surrounded by people.
But the kind of connection where we can arrive as we are.
Where we are witnessed.
Where we are supported.
Where we remember that we were never meant to navigate every season of life alone.
The last several years have brought so much movement and change.
Six moves in less than six years will do that.
There were beautiful moments, unexpected gifts, and incredible growth - but there was also a longing I could feel beneath it all.
A longing for roots.
For familiarity.
For gathering.
For the simple sweetness of sharing space with others.
Settling back into the mountains of southwest Colorado for the third time has brought me into reflection about the last place where I truly felt rooted in community.
It was a small, sweet home office in the gentle foothills of western North Carolina.
A place where I welcomed guests for bodywork and began building the early foundations of my coaching and energy practice.
I remember the warmth of that space.
The conversations.
The trust.
The beautiful exchange that happens when one person allows themselves to be supported by another.
My work has moved through many seasons since then - fully in person, fully online, and many beautiful variations in between.
But one thread has remained constant:
Healing happens in relationship.
There is something powerful about gathering together.
Every group has its own unique expression.
The people who arrive bring their own wisdom, experiences, questions, and perspectives. Together, something emerges that could not exist in isolation.
This is one of the reasons I love creating online spaces for healing.
Connection does not require proximity.
People can gather from different places, different seasons of life, and different experiences - and still create something meaningful together.
Recently, I stepped back into leading group work through The Circle, and it has been such a joy to feel this part of my practice come alive again.
It feels like a homecoming.
A return to something I have always loved.
If you have been longing for deeper connection, a place to pause, receive, and reconnect with yourself, I would be honored to welcome you into The Circle.
With love,
Annaliese
